Welcome to Solar Tenders ZA ("Service", "we", "us"). By registering an account or subscribing to our daily email notifications, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Description of Service
Solar Tenders ZA provides an automated summary index of renewable energy and backup power procurement opportunities sourced from public South African government data registries. We compile, filter, and transmit this metadata via electronic mail to active, paying subscribers.
2. Account Registration and Subscriptions
- You must provide a valid, functional email address to receive daily alerts.
- Subscriptions are priced at R199 per month (or as displayed on our landing page). Payments are securely handled on a recurring monthly basis via our local payment processor, Paystack.
- You are responsible for ensuring your payment details remain up to date. Failed subscription renewals will result in the immediate suspension of daily alerts.
3. Acceptable Use and Restrictions
- The data, compiled links, and structural organization provided in your daily email digest are intended solely for your internal business development use.
- You strictly agree not to reverse-engineer, mirror, scrape, or systematically copy the data compiled by Solar Tenders ZA to build a competing directory, tender database, or public alert platform.
- Sharing your subscription alert emails or account access with unauthorized third parties outside your immediate business entity is strictly prohibited.
4. Disclaimer of Warranties (The "No-Guarantee" Shield)
- Solar Tenders ZA acts as an aggregator of public sector documentation.
- We make no guarantees regarding the completeness, accuracy, or timely update frequencies of the underlying government data portals.
- It remains the user's sole responsibility to verify mandatory site briefing dates, closing locations, and addenda directly with the issuing state organ.
- The Service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis without warranties of any kind.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, Solar Tenders ZA, its developers, and operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from missed tender deadlines, unexpected portal downtime, disqualified bids, or changes to procurement specifications. Our total liability to you for any claims arising out of this agreement shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to us in the trailing three (3) months.
6. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in South Africa.
